Job Description


Job Title:Site HR Partner - ChennaiSummary: To lead all site related HR activities through a people focus and ethical business driven approach.Responsibilities Include:

  • Model MPM core values, core competences and a play key role in evolving our culture.
  • To ensure manpower planning is in line with the organizational requirement.
  • To manage manpower cost and profitability, ensure most competitive resources are attracted in the budgeted cost for the site.
  • Balance employees\xe2\x80\x99 needs with business needs across functions.
  • Consult / Prepare s for all positions at site.
  • Drive local Non-exempt hiring process.
  • Responsible for a robust employee onboarding & life cycle management for the site.
  • Drive the employee referral policy.
  • Educate others and Ensure full compliance to social security legislations
  • Ensure timely submission of Monthly / Half-yearly and annual returns.
  • Regular interaction with Inspector of Factories, ESI authorities with regard to statutory compliance &with local Government bodies like Panchayat & Panchayat union for remittance of taxes & running license.
  • Conduct & organize various engagement activities both outside and in the plant, Employee Recognition and Rewards.
  • Ensure & promptly address employee grievances and offer counselling, conduct effective investigation & disciplinary actions to maintain cordial employee relations.
  • Handling workplace investigations, disciplinary, and termination procedures.
  • Identification of Training through various inputs \xe2\x80\x93 Performance assessment, Skill Matrix, Competency Mapping, Business requirement and Individual declaration Maintaining record of Training attendance, feedback, and Training Evaluation/Effectiveness.
  • Partner with Talent Development team and implement TD initiatives for the site.
  • Partner with HRMs and HRBP on talent related topics
  • Generate meaningful outcomes based on functional & business critical reports.
  • Carrying out necessary administrative tasks and ensure seamless hospitality for global stakeholders, visitors, etc.
  • Organize various community outreach Programs through CSR, etc.
Qualifications:The following are required for the role
  • MSW/MBA from a reputed institute with 4-8 years of experience in handling HR function in a manufacturing plant.
  • Possess sound knowledge about various HR functions and processes
  • Analytical and strong decision-making ability based on intuitive and logical reasoning.
  • Ability to effectively work, communicate, partner, and manage stakeholders at all levels within the organization.
  • Committed, dynamic, passionate, go-getter, & team player with managerial and execution capabilities
  • Understand the organizational dynamics and apply knowledge to resolve problems.
