JOB PURPOSE 1.1 Responsible for implementing key business improvement initiatives for manufacturing site at Aurangabad. Define opportunities, analyze data, design manufacturing line flows, and improve business processes. Improvement initiatives are led by enlisting and influencing cross-functional teams that deliver tangible business results through the application of Lean and Six Sigma principles, methodologies and tools. Utilizing business, leadership and technical skills, execute projects and mentor all groups (Associate to Management) at the site, developing a continuous improvement culture. Develop effective and efficient processes from project inception and resolve major, multi-faceted line improvement opportunities

Duties & responsibilities

2.1 Foster a culture of Continuous Improvement 2.2 Responsible for developing a strategy and executing a plan to deliver process performance improvements related to Quality, Delivery, and Cost. 2.3 Collaborate and partner with stakeholders across multiple functions to develop and execute continuous improvement strategies. 2.4 Manage Business Scorecards and Key process Indicators for the Aurangabad Site. 2.5 Support in India Business Planning and OGSM exercises. 2.6 Support project portfolio activities such as prioritization, resource allocation, performance measurement, and change management plans. 2.7 Responsible for developing Lean and Six Sigma capabilities through coaching and mentoring at all levels (Associate to Management) within the site. 2.8 Sustain business improvement results through the application of Lean, Six Sigma, JJPS and other continuous improvement programs. 2.9 Develop and execute the Visual Factory Strategy for the site. 2.10 Apply Process Excellence tools like Value Stream mapping and process mapping to identify opportunities for wastage reduction. 2.11 Develop and implement Process Excellence Training programs and facilitate organizational learning and certification process. 2.12 Educate employees on use of Statistical and QC tools as required. 2.13 Certify associates or support them in achieving Lean and Six Sigma certifications. 2.14 Drive focus and organizational alignment and understanding around the Operations Strategic Imperatives. 2.15 Support Strategic Capacity Planning for the site.

Compliance & Training

2.16.1 Observes & promotes all regulatory requirements as defined per applicable regulations, rules & procedures established by the Company, and notified any violation or deviation to the immediate supervisor or appropriate authority. 2.16.2 Complies with all training requirements to perform duties of the job. 2.16.3 Ensure adherence/compliance to Records Management policies and procedures, as applicable. 3. AUTHORITIES (if applicable) 3.1. Certify associates as Green Belts/Orange Belts.

3.3. Approval of JJPS and other BE Project Charters.

Qualifications

Education/experience

4.1 Education- A minimum of a bachelor's degree is preferred in an Engineering or Science discipline. An advanced degree, such an MS or an MBA is preferred. 4.2 Experience- Minimum 6 years overall business experience. Experience in Manufacturing is preferred. Certified Black Belt will have an added advantage. Lean certification is strongly recommended. Are you ready to impact the world?
