As a Performance Automation Lead, you will play a critical role in guaranteeing the scalability, responsiveness, and stability of our software products. You will lead a team of performance engineers and work closely with cross-functional teams to implement performance testing strategies, identify bottlenecks, and optimize our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performance Testing Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive performance testing strategy for our software applications.

• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of performance engineers, providing guidance and support in performance testing and optimization efforts.

• Performance Monitoring: Set up and maintain performance monitoring tools and dashboards to continuously track the performance of applications in production.

• Load Testing: Design, execute, and analyze load and stress tests to identify performance bottlenecks and areas for improvement.

• Performance Tuning: Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to optimize code, databases, and infrastructure for performance improvements.

• Benchmarking: Conduct benchmarking exercises to compare our applications\' performance against industry standards.

• Root Cause Analysis: Investigate performance issues and conduct root cause analysis to identify underlying problems.

• Reporting: Prepare and present performance test reports to stakeholders and suggest remediation strategies.

• Automation: Develop and maintain performance test scripts and frameworks for automation.

• Documentation: Create and maintain performance test plans, scripts, and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in performance testing and engineering.
• Proven experience with performance testing tools, such as LoadRunner, JMeter, Gatling, or similar.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation for performance testing.
• Experience with performance monitoring and APM tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Knowledge of software development and architecture.
• Industry certifications in performance testing are a plus.

Technology Ownership:

• Manage delivery IT projects for all channels of sales through improvement programs
• Support design of architecture in partnership with internal & external architects.
• Ensure Agile & Devops practices are leveraged and adopted across programs
• Manage support operations and improvements journey for HUL customers

Integration with different streams, global teams and external partners:

• Engagement with product partners & service providers to bring outside-in view
• Vendor management across various vendors to manage talents and technologies at the best cost

Governance & People:

• Manage a very large team of internal and external team members; ensure well-being, development & motivation, while ensuring delivery of CRs and BAU operations of the assigned areas
• Manage the IT budget including adherence to forecast, optimization & compliance
• Ensure proper governance structure is followed across all stakeholders

• Ability to handle E2E project journey including business value delivery
