Job Description
:
- Plan organize and control security arrangements in plant and township to safeguard unit assets and employees
- Organizing patrols in township and around plant boundary
- Vigilance of all entry and exit points
- Ensure no encroachment by outsiders
- Handling miscreants and unlawful activities
- Keep constant vigil on the trade union activity and unruly elements
- Execute the deployment of and supervision of guards through security inspectors
- Identify training needs and impart the same
- Ensure maintenance of firefighting equipment and operate during emergencies within short notice and conduct and organize training on fire fighting
- Maintaining all equipment's to required level
- Timely replacement / refilling of portable fire extinguishers in various departments
- Practice firefighting drills / mock drills and train security staff in their actions as part of Disaster Management
- Liaison with law enforcement authorities and road transport officers for supporting the business activities of the unit
- Interactions and building relations wherever needed
- Establish network to gain information on activities
- Plan and ensure deployment of company as well as hired vehicle and its optimum utilization
- Check road worthiness of company and maintenance of vehicle log books
- Check accounting of mileage and fuel and identify areas of cost reduction and implement the same
