Job Description

:

A. Plan , Organize and co-ordinate various Land acquisition related activities through one to one negotiation / Collective bargaining with villagers / farmers within the preview of new land acquisition, rehabilitation & resettlement Bill, 2013.

B. Liasoning with the Govt,. Revenue dept. & Mining dept. in connection with the land related matters and settle down the issues within the law.

C. Build-up the public relation with the nearby villagers / farmers, political leaders, NGO , Sarpanch & others public fame to maintain harmonious relation to create sense of belongingness among and maintain the core values of the company.

D. Settle down the public grievances in connection with land & related issues by counselling & collective bargaining.

Job Responsibilities

To compile all statutory requirements under various enactments as applicable in the unit.

Prepare a check list of all statutory compliance under various laws applicable in the unit

Compile data & information for statutory compliances

Prepare & submit all statutory returns as per specified timelines

Obtain approvals / authorizations on all statutory returns / forms

Maintain & update all documents as per provisions.

Physically check compliances of all provisions of Industrial laws

Identify deviations if any, suggest corrective actions to HOD (P&IR) and help in implementing corrective actions

Coordinate visit of all inspecting authorities

Implementation of approved recommendations by inspecting authorities

Organize timely third party inspections as per provisions of Industrial laws.

Obtain and renew all license registration / certification as required under applicable laws within stipulated time frame

Update Legal MIS and portals as required.

Confer with colleagues with specialties in appropriate areas of legal issue to establish and verify bases for legal proceedings; represent clients in court or before government agencies /authorities.

Interpret laws, rulings and regulations and identify implications for cases from legal precedents or other legal information.

Preparing and drafting legal documents, such as applications, notices, replies, and contracts; analysing the probable outcomes of cases, using knowledge of legal precedents; identifying implications for cases from legal precedents or other legal information.

Coordinate Disciplinary proceedings (Preparation of Charge Sheet, Warning letter, Coordinating Domestic enquiry)

Well experienced with conducting due diligence for large tracts of land, right of way on the title of the land/properties, drafting and vetting of various property related documents, deeds and agreements.

Attend various meetings with Govt. Officials to maintain liaison and update land records.

Deal with external stakeholders such as Govt authorities, Local Leaders etc.
