About the role

Ensure service delivery services are delivered effectively to Head of Service Delivery Act as People Manager in India MSC for Service Delivery Manager’s , Capacity Manager , Technical Lead and Project Manager’s supporting accounts of Head of Service Delivery Acts as Owner for proactive actions on Infrastructure of Multiple accounts in service delivery block. Ensure technical audits are conducted by Technical Lead and remediation plans executed for critical weakness in the environment Ensure Validation at regular intervals technical architecture by Technical lead Works closely with the Process lead to ensure the technical subtleties of the Cloud environment are counted for within our processes and procedures Maintain a forward-looking view of upcoming technology. Feed this view back into the operations team, identifying future product to be evaluated Develop the overall technical standards, rules and guidelines that underpin the operational service Ensure project management approach is followed by project manager for all important projects run for accounts Understand the end-to-end technical knowhow of Compute , Storage and Backup Ensure capacity reports are prepared at appropriate time and actions are initiated for specific variations in KPI’s

About you

Higher education (Engineering graduate), or a significant experience in OS, server & cloud domain. Familiar with or you have a good knowledge of Windows or UNIX / Linux system (installation, tuning, advance troubleshooting) and of Cisco UCS, Dell M1000 Chassis and M630, Rack mount R730 & R330) Familiar with or you have a good knowledge of virtual technologies (VmWare ESX, Vsphere 6.5 ( vCenter 6.5 & ESXi 6.5, VRA 7.x (High availability mode), NSX 6.x with advanced features like NSX Controller VMs, Edges, VXLAN, DLR, distributed firewall etc, vROPs 6.x, vRLI 4.x Familiar with converged Infrastructure such as vBlock / Flexpod & also on UCS, HP Bladesystem

Position Summary

SDM will be an individual contributor responsible for the IT infrastructure platforms supporting Orange’s Cloud Offers to global customers. SDM will be responsible for management and QoS of the cloud offers (private/public/multi cloud) during the Run phase. The candidate must have hands-on experience in managing IT infrastructure operations hosting cloud offering. Candidate should be skilled in causal analysis and have good verbal and written communication skill in order to manage global stakeholders. Job Responsibilities
  • Manage overall accountability of the Quality of Service of the managed cloud offers for accounts
  • Responsible for the structured reporting of the cloud platform (KPI definition, SLA achievements) to customer senior management
  • Lead the Infrastructure crisis for the platform to reduce customer impacts
  • Maintain proactive approach to avoid capacity issues & repeated failures and hence avoid crisis situations
  • Manage release & patch Management process with operations team to make sure the platform is up-to-date and ensure the appropriate CABs are activated
  • Assist the Customer Support teams (Implementation, Engineering) to help and execute customer new requirements
  • Implement Service Improvement Plan (SIP) for infrastructure services (compute, storage and backup)
  • Work with global remote teams in a matrix organization to accomplish the business outcomes
  • Technical Knowledge Preference :
Operational understanding of Vmware ESXi and vCloud suite Administration activities performed on Windows and Linux OS Understanding of Cisco UCS server hardware functioning Backup challenges and performance on EMC Netbackup or Veeam Architecture understanding of EMC UNITY Storage or Netapp FAS
  • Mandatory Experience and Skills :

Minimum overall professional working experience of 10+ years. Thorough understand of ITIL Incident/Change/Problem management processes.
Experience in preparing service level reports and dashboard
