Role/Department Description:

Content Transformation Enablement is responsible for providing resources for Transformation tools and projects in various key areas including: manual testing for common components, level 1 tool support, prototype collection, department communication, knowledge management, testing automation, business analysis for Transformation tools and projects. The Group works closely with database and application engineers in Content Engineering, Product DB engineers in Content Integration Engineering, Product Development, Content Policy, Operations Management, Knowledge Management and Training groups to ensure that the data and associated characteristics (e.g. timeliness of updates, accuracy) meet the requirements of our various stakeholders and ultimately our clients.

Responsibilities:

60% Testing

• Adhere to strict guidelines in understanding and following established 'Test Scripts' and 'Reporting' mechanisms to ensure relevant and accurate feedback is documented and communicated when executing on acceptance and regression testing
• Compares expected results with the actual test results and identifies variations/issues/bugs
• Works closely with the project team to agree, plan and execute on all levels of testing for new processes and functionality
• Co-ordination role in project deployment
• Post release monitoring Identifying and Reporting on Bugs/Issues related to Project Deliverables Deliver collection application / workflows (new and / or enhancements) as per agreed original specifications

30% Operational Support

• Ticket Support Handling - Communicates appropriate and relevant solutions
• Floor Support - Visits and assists end-users for issues encountered on applications and workflows
• Monitors and reports on any latency related issues
• Provide post release application demos
• Managing End-User Expectations Educating on post release applications Monitors application / workflow related latency issues

10% Reporting

• Keeping track of production loss report, daily testing feedback Reporting: Testing status reports, production loss reports, Ticketing Reporting Logs

Required Skills:

Good understanding of Software Testing life cycle To understand the testing phase and the responsibilities as a Tester

Testing structure and methodologies To cover 100% testing

Application and workflow knowledge To carry out testing on applications

Content knowledge To carry out testing on applications from Policy stand point

Analytical skills To get an understanding of the root cause of an issue / bug

Ms Office suite to draft the issues and report the analysis

SQL To check the data from backend

Excellent written and verbal communication To report the bugs / issues to development team in a clear manner
