About Fixed Networks

Our Fixed Networks (FN) business group provides an array of \xe2\x80\x9cgigabit to the home\xe2\x80\x9d solutions to deliver data access to our communication service provider (CSP) customers. This includes Fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) as well as 5G fixed wireless access (FWA), xDSL and cable upgrades. We build solutions that don\xe2\x80\x99t stop at the home but also bring that gigabit experience into the home using our meshed Wi-Fi solution.



The responsibilities include:

- Design, code, test, automate using cutting edge technologies (OSGi, Microservices, Kubernetes, Elastic search, React JS, SDN/NFV etc)

- Review product requirements, code and test designs

- Defining prototypes and contribute to evolution of product architecture

- Mentor and guide the team

Qualifications:

Skill Set:

Essential:

Masters/Bachelor Degree in computers/communication/electrical engineering

8 to 15 years of Strong experience in development and troubleshooting on the Java platform

Knowledge of Linux, Containers, and Kubernetes

Good in demonstrating proof of concepts for the feasibility of complex features

Closely work with the development team to solve design issues

Able to answer customer queries for the features you design/own

Experience with NMS/EMS Development (Knowledge of SNMP/Netconf-Yang is desired)

Knowledge of Telecommunication and Networking technologies

Passion to explore and work on the new technologies

Good understanding of the software development lifecycle

Good technical leadership to guide a team and ensure timely and quality deliveries

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Desired:

Knowledge of Kafka, ElasticSearch

Knowledge of OSGi

Work experience in Python

Experience in Cloud based solutions development

Experience in Devops environment

Exposure to CI/CD

Prior experience in working with multi-site team
