About Fixed Networks

Fixed Networks (FN) business group provides an array of \xe2\x80\x9cgigabit to the home\xe2\x80\x9d solutions to deliver data access to our communication service provider (CSP) customers. This includes Fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) as well as 5G fixed wireless access (FWA), xDSL and cable upgrades. We build solutions that don\xe2\x80\x99t stop at the home but also bring that gigabit experience into the home using our meshed Wi-Fi solution.

• Design, develop automated test cases for features of network management and automation product for access network
• Understand feature impacts, identify test cases and prepare plan to execute them
• Perform manual and automated tests to verify feature
• Understand real-world customer deployments and incorporate feedback into test cases.
• Analyse, reproduce, debug issues reported by internal and/or external customers in a timely manner.
• Work closely with all of R&D and Product Management to jointly deliver high quality products and solutions
• Communicate clearly and escalates issues in a timely manner

Job Responsibilities & Competencies

Experience: 5 to 10 years

Qualifications

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Engineering/Technology specialising in Computer science/Electronics and Communication/Information Technology

Skills required

• Test Automation skills
• Good L2/L3 knowledge with hands on experience with SNMP/Netconf protocols
• Good knowledge of Unix, understanding of Java and J2EE concepts
• Python/Jython
• Knowledge of OSGi, Microservices, Kubernetes, SDN/NFV/YANG/ConfD/REST is added advantage
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills are required
• Ability to learn quickly and to work in a fast paced, innovative environment
• Good knowledge of software development lifecycle & testing, Agile is advantage
• Should be ready to take challenging tasks and deliver per commitment on tight schedules

• Experience in test design, test bed preparation/setup, test execution and reporting
• Experience in different kinds of software testing (functional, regression and/or non-functional testing)
• Experience in testing Cloud based solutions, CI/CD and Devops environment
• Good working knowledge of IDE\'s, automation frameworks, defect tracking tools, and version control systems
• Experience with Spirent traffic generators
• Experience in fixed broadband (DSL/PON) products is preferable
