About The Role And Benefit Realization.

We are looking to hire an experienced technical architect to oversee the design and implementation of our Engineering Application projects (PDM/PLM and CAD interfaces). As a technical architect, you will be responsible for setting up company processes, designing the structure of enterprise level IT systems, overseeing the project implementation, and measuring the performance of the new system.

To ensure success as a technical architect, you should have extensive knowledge of enterprise networking systems, advanced problem-solving skills, and the ability to take full ownership. A top-class technical architect can design and implement any size system to perfectly meet the needs of the client.

Own the existing build 3Dexperience environments, maintaining their availability Stay abreast of current and emerging technologies (polyglot, cloud) and trends relevant to the PDM\PLM space.

Create and build new environments as per needs - 3DExperience environment installation/upgrade, configuration, and administration.

Maintain all PDM/PLM environments and keep it updated as per purpose with proper backup and keep it latest with syncing recent implementations.

Ensure consistent application code integrity, confirm documentation of capabilities, and participate in code reviews

Advising on best practice in cloud technologies within the PLM

Driving continuous improvement in cloud implementation and optimization.

Audit and propose solutions regarding the main operational issues. Tuning of DS products and related key software components (like OS, DB, Application and Web Servers, hardware sizing)

Application, DB, FCS, index & SEAL server monitoring

Maintain logs, proper back up of logs, Scrutinize the logs for any errors

Central IT coordination with network and infrastructure team

Support IT infrastructure Projects, Security & patch update Support and testing

Coordinate PLM dependent tools like SEAL, Tacton CPQ

Experience and qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or other equivalent education and experience. with 10-15yrs of Experience.

Experience in managing multiple build environments of the Dassault Systems 3DExperience solution.

Working knowledge of configuration and / or customization of PLM environments including P&O setup and modification, creating dashboards and widgets, basic scripting, deployment, and maintenance of codes

Experience of designing coded build and config scripts for a various platform.

Experience in modern object-oriented or script-based programming using relevant languages. example. : Java, C#.

Experience of client-side installation and trouble shooting and deployment.

Knowledge of performance optimization on server, database, query, data structures and data flow levels

Understanding of networking components

Basic understanding of database architecture.

While this position is based in Chennai, India, this Senior Technical Architect will work closely with our team members in Denmark and globally. Prior experience working closely with multiple, international teams required.
