Position Overview

The Analyst, Application Operations reports to the Service Delivery Manager and will be attentive, analytical, accountable, dynamic and people's person. This position will have the responsibility to work with the Global IT application support and maintenance teams ensuring process compliance, gather metrices across domains, liaise with all application owners and teams, help to manage cross domain communications & collaborations. The candidate would be responsible to create dashboard and management reporting.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets team and system performance metrices
• Trend analysis and reporting on operational metrices
• Ensures setup of dashboards, reports in tools like Service Now for operational metrices in incident management, problem management, change management etc.
• Ensures proactive and reactive management of operational metrics
• Triage critical incidents for quick closure/resolution
• Assist in managing cross domain communications and collaborations
• Assist in innovating, developing, and driving best practice delivery and assurance governance processes
• Timely escalations to IT senior management

Technical experience working with the Configuration Management

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

• 4+ years of experience within IT application operations
• ITIL certified candidates would be preferred

• Deep understanding of ITIL approach, principles, and processes
• Experience in operational management involving multiple stakeholders and cross domain teams
• Good working knowledge of ITSM tools (Service Now, Jira etc.)
• Good analytical ability and communication skills
• Experience in creating dashboards, reporting & presentations, excel macros etc.
• Experience in process management involving preventive maintenance
