Your responsibilities Be a technical member in a collaborative engineering team developing and enhancing the CI/CD pipelines used to deploy applications to public cloud (AWS & Azure). Support the development of SAP scaffolds for use by delivery team building applications for public cloud. Work with the internal cloud delivery teams to enable new cloud capabilities and services. Investigate and monitor production workloads to help optimize Cloud costs. Setup and troubleshoot complex deployment and environment issues. Work with the Operations team to build capabilities to support their requirements. Engage with project teams to understand upcoming requirements and provide technical guidance. Technical presentations. Promote CD engineering principles and practices into project work. Continually learning modern technology best practices and bring them back to the group. Go above and beyond in improving quality and performance in the delivery of efficient, reliable and maintainable application and solutions that meet design and requirements specifications for technology projects. Your skills & experience You will have extensive senior level experience in the following: Strong knowledge in Config Management/IaC in any of the following is required: Ansible & Ansible Tower Terraform AWS CloudFormation / CDK or Azure ARM / Bicep Strong skills in CI/CD Tools like Teamcity, Jenkins, Octopus, Artifactory or GitHub. Proficient skills in Powershell or other scripting languages. Competent skills in OS Admin (RHEL / SLES OS Admin) and experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Microsoft Azure or GCP is required. Knowledge in containers like Docker or Kubernetes is beneficial. Strong knowledge of software implementation best practices. Working with senior stakeholders, with the confidence to challenge when required. Advocate and practitioner of continuous integration and delivery practices. Ability to work and participate in a collaborate working environment like agile (scrum). Confident in presenting your ideas to other members of the team and wider stakeholders. Excellent leadership, communication and problem solving skills. Understanding of SAP HANA DB admin and exposure to SAP BTP is beneficial. Having AWS Certification (sol arch, devops, sys admin) is an advantage.
