About the department Digital, Data & IT - Product Supply GBS is the unit responsible for many global IT systems at Novo Nordisk including the operation, maintenance, support, and development of these systems. The systems are used on a global scale across business areas and are critical to the execution of key business processes such as manufacturing and supply chain etc. The Position The role Senior System Manager I is responsible for supervising the day-to-day usage, operation, and maintenance of the system and/or services. Providing user training and support as needed and provide a single point of contact, liaison, and escalation for all system matters. You will be responsible for managing the expectations of LoB, customers and users concerning the use of the systems. Ensuring the most appropriate levels of service are supplied to meet future business needs and is responsible for the interaction with regulatory authorities for audits and inspections e.g. FDA. You will be responsible for assisting the service provider in ensuring that existing services meet their service targets, that planned new services meet their timescales, and that targets are realistic and achieved. You will be responsible for identifying new service requirements to existing systems and services and provide input to service provider. Facilitating system strategy and risk management work in cooperation with key stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor of Engineering, Information & Science Engineering, with relevant IT and business experience. Relevant 10+ years of experience in System management in PAS-X application. Should have experience in Infrastructure related hosting/maintenance Should be able to manage PAS-X Scheduler (sedApta) licenses and Line Optimizer Connect (Lion Connect) licenses. Must have excellent communication skills. It shall be expected of you to be highly self-motivated to work independently, within delegated authority, with minimal or no supervision.
