How you might spend your days

Your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing the maintenance and performance tuning of servers, networks, and work-stations.
• Resolving complex technical issues promptly to ensure minimal downtime and disrup-tions.
• Implementing robust cybersecurity measures to safeguard sensitive data and systems.
• Developing and executing comprehensive backup and disaster recovery strategies.
• Managing software deployments, updates, and license compliance.
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional IT teams to plan and execute strategic pro-jects.
• Ensuring the availability, scalability, and reliability of critical IT systems.

To apply for the position there are some things that are needed, and others are a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:

• A minimum of 10 years of proven experience in IT system administration.
• Expertise in administering Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Advanced knowledge of network design, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in virtualization technologies, including VMWare and Hyper-V.
• In-depth understanding of cybersecurity best practices and tools.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a track record of successful IT project management.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders.
• A bachelor\'s degree in computer science or a related field (preferred).
