About the role This position is based out of Gurgaon and will be a key member of the Controllership COE, managing Internal Control activities, SOX compliances and ensuring operational and financial controls for all business units to whom the COE provides controllership support. Key Responsibilities: Annual SOX compliances for US GAAP reporting - GAP assessments, SOX narratives, Risk assessments, SOX testing and reporting, System and functional SOD assessments Quarterly SOX compliances - QCIC, s302, s404 representation letters Annual internal control compliances for IGAAP statutory audit - perform ICFR (internal controls over financial reporting) as per local regulations, develop RCM (risk control matrices) Co-ordinate with statutory auditors to ensure completion of ICFR review Report out to the local entity Board of Directors and Audit Committee Closely monitor open SOX issue tickets, work with stakeholders to address the control gaps and implement remediation actions on a timely basis For IGAAP compliance, undertake various audits such as branch audits, shared accounting team audits, factory audit. Identify and document process/control gaps during such audits. Work with stakeholders to timely implement remedial actions Key contact person for co-ordination during Carrier Internal Audits Ensure ERP controls - review and approve new SAP developments or changes to existing configurations, maintain approval hierarchies in SAP ensuring alignment with DOA, SAP access approvals, perform annual SAP SOD review Closely monitor completion of any other key control activities Support ebanking controls by performing monthly banking log reviews Required Qualification Chartered Accountant with 10 years post qualification experience Exposure to US GAAP SOX compliances Very good working knowledge of SAP ERP Travel to branches required Preferred Qualification Managed SOX compliances in a multinational corporation Instrumental in designing and implementation of entity level internal audit plans Benefits We are committed to offering competitive benefits programs for all of our employees, and enhancing our programs when necessary.
