We are looking to hire a Lead Windows Systems Engineer to join our Global Systems Engineering Team. As part of the team, you will oversee the implementation, maintenance and consolidation of our global storage infrastructure hosted in data centers worldwide, and act directly on client-facing systems. You will oversee the day-to-day operations as well as work on challenging projects aimed towards continuous improvement and evolution of our technology environment. The infrastructure itself represents a motivating challenge: Windows platforms spread across more than 500 physical servers hosting 1,500 VM\xe2\x80\x99s located in 4 data centers worldwide. The system infrastructure consists of multiple server platforms and NAS storage. Responsibilities include:

• Monitor and analyze storage system performance, capacity, and throughput. Identify and resolve bottlenecks, implement performance tuning measures, and optimize storage utilization to meet performance and capacity requirements
• Improve enterprise quality and availability of storage infrastructure components
• Automation of repeatable tasks, processes, and procedures, provisioning, alerting, monitoring, reporting, maintenance, backup recovery, and business continuity/disaster recovery process
• Collaborate with systems engineers, developers, and customers to design, improve, and implement appropriate storage solutions to meet business requirements
• Work with the backup team to ensure proper tape backup capacity
• Produce documentation on installed systems and their configurations
• Ensure that root-cause is identified, and knowledge gained is applied for process improvement
• Design storage solutions and sustainability by developing roadmaps
• Measure and monitor storage availability, response time, and backup windows
• Build and implement automated deployment and management tools and processes for efficiency and consistency
• Participate in the continuous improvement process for refining the architecture, performance, and scalability to improve the quality and uptime of the environment
• Ensure adherence to Information Security guidelines
• Collaborate with international clients and global internal teams

• Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of Systems Engineering experience within a large infrastructure environment
• Knowledge of Unix and Windows operating systems
• Hands-on experience with NIS, DFS, and AD concepts
• Strong experience in storage capacity planning and monitoring
• Very strong problem-solving skills, with proven ability to analyze, determine root cause and resolution of complex problems
• Experience in tracking and analyzing performance and resource utilization of systems, as well as recommending capacity changes, upgrades, and enhancements based on the technical analysis to ensure high availability and maintenance of SLAs
• Good analytical skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while working independently or in a team environment
• Strong experience in production support of 24/7 live environments. Must be able to work under extreme pressure with a good understanding of the risks and potential impact of managing client-facing global environments
• Participate in the implementation of solutions involving data encryption, data masking, secure file transfers, and data leakage prevention
• Experience with Active Directory including remediation and consolidation, as well as a strong foundation in other directory service technologies including GPO, DNS, and DHCP
• Hands-on experience designing and configuring Microsoft Windows Server technology including antivirus, patch management, Citrix, and System Administration tools
• Experience with PowerShell, VBScript, Python, Perl, WMI, etc.
• Able to work flexible hours (including nights and weekends) if needed
• Motivated, hardworking, and exceptional attention to detail
• Proven crisis management skills
• Strong interpersonal and written / verbal communication skills
• Financial Services industry experience is a plus
• AWS experience is a plus
