Your Team, Your Impact The Custom and Compute Solutions Business Unit closely collaborates with strategic customers in the development of advanced and highly complex SoCs, from architecture and design all the way through layout, packaging, prototype validation and production ramp up.

What You Can Expect

Manage a team of PD engineers to drive design execution, methodology development, and skill/career development of the organization.

Collaborate with other PD managers and Design managers (across Frontend, DFT, signoff, and validation) for design closure.

What We\'re Looking For

B-Tech/M-Tech candidate with 15+ years of hands-on experience and leadership in Physical Design.

Candidate should have played a Full Chip lead/Technical manager role with 10+ years experience in Customer/Stakeholder interactions at global level, driving technical deliverable\'s/dependencies across the design cycle (DFT/Timing/FE/Power).

As a people manager should have 5+ years of experience in managing large teams with a thorough understanding of the comp processes, active engagement in their career building through Mentoring/Guiding while driving the technical delvierables on a given design.

As a technical Manger, Candidate should have good experience handling multi-million hierarchical designs, sizing , partitioning a given design, chip top clock tree planning, IO and Bump planning, along with the sign-off checks comprising of EM/IR, XTalk and DFM.

Should have experience in working with global teams as a PD lead/Manager, demonstrating excellent problem solving skills on designs with latest technology nodes (7/5/3 nm).

Candidate should possess excellent inter-personal skills with experience in providing mentorship to junior engineers, reviewing designs and providing technical guidance.

Will be nice to have experience working on Automotive SoC designs & designs with multiple power domains including UPF creation, CLP checks etc.

Working knowledge of any scripting language PERL/TCL/AWK/Shell and having fluent written and oral communication skills is an added advantage.
