About the role: The Senior Workday Reporting Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reports, dashboard, discovery boards, embedded analytics, and scorecards, using Workday reporting tools to support data driven decision-making. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to gather and understand needs and delivering to a high standard. It\xe2\x80\x99s the role\xe2\x80\x99s responsibility to ensure data is protected and only shared with those that have permissions to see it. How you will make an impact:

  • Create reports, dashboard, discovery boards, embedded analytics, and scorecards, in Workday on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Working with the rest of the reporting team, manage requests coming from people organisation and the business, and providing high quality solutions that meet the customer\xe2\x80\x99s needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and work closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, and other departments to provide ad hoc reports and data as needed.
  • Make use of, maintain, and develop our report library, standard reports, dashboards, and discovery boards, to ensure they continue to meet needs of the business and the system remains clutter free.
  • Design, create, maintain, and amend calculated fields in Workday.
  • Research and re-configure calculated fields and reports when impacted by new or changing functionality of workday.
  • Ensure our data is protected and only providing data to those with permission to view it.
  • Build out and maintain routine reporting needs, such as data needed for board materials, renewing business-related insurances, and meeting local government reporting needs, to work proactively in researching what is needed when, by whom, for what, and ensuring needs are met.
  • Conduct audits and analysis on reporting practices by analysing service level agreement satisfaction and other important metrics.
  • Trouble shoot reporting issues and collaborate with other HR team and companies in the Workday community to seek best practice and research solutions.
  • Establish & maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand new report/data requirements and provide the simplest solution ensuring results meet the business needs.
  • Work with HR COEs to review and assist in preparing business cases tied to new metrics and report development to support programs.
  • Keep up to date with the latest Workday reporting features and functionality and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Partner with the Director of People Analytics, as needed, to support development of business analytics.
What we are looking for:
  • Graduate/Postgraduate
  • Completed workday led training for Report Writing, Discovery Boards, and Prism
  • 3 - 4 years of experience of HR Workday reporting, including building and modifying dashboards and discovery boards
  • Extensive Knowledge of preparing reports and analysing data
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across different departments.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Solid cross functional understanding of Workday
  • Workday reporting BAU support experience required.
  • Advanced Excel skills required.
  • Workday reporting implementation experience desired but not essential
  • Workday HCM reporting & certification preferred but not essential
