The pandemic has highlighted how important telecom networks are to society. The Cloud and Network Services (CNS) business group is a growth engine for Nokia. Our focus is to create value for both service providers and enterprise customers by leading the transition to cloud-native software and as-a-service delivery models as demand for critical networks accelerates. In CNS, you will be part of Core Networks \xe2\x80\x93 Services and Care Delivery (SCD) organization. This group is at the heart of a revolution to bring faster and reliable networks to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.
What you will learn and contribute to

• Design custom software for 3G, 4G, 5G mobile core networks
• SW Architecture based on - Java/C/C++/Python/Shell,
• Agile, DevOps way of working with CI/CD tool chains on cloud and container platforms

Your skills and experience

• 10+ years of Industry Experience
• Excellence in Requirement Collection & Analysis, Software Design, Architecture principles and Software Development Life Cycle Methodologies (like Agile)
• Experience in the field of architecture, development, and deployment of high volume applications
• Experience is designing and developing cloud native application.
• Experience in making Application CnF ready. Good knowledge on Kubernetes and Containers.
• Experience working on large carrier-grade solutions for customer
• Knowledge of web applications, cybersecurity and open source technologies
• Hands on Experience in Java (Java, J2EE and OSGi) or any other OOPS technologies. Good command on Algorithms and data structures, OOAD, state machines Client-server systems, distributed systems etc.
• Good Hands-on experience on Python and Scripting Languages (Perl, korn or bash shell) etc.
• Good expertise on Linux Platform (Preferably RHEL/CentOS) including use of package manager (like yum or rpm) for package installation and managing system services like sFTP, SSHD, system daemons etc.
• Experience designing, executing and supporting IT cloud solutions \xe2\x80\x93 On Openstack, AWS, Azure, VMware etc.
• Working experience in Application deployment modes be it classic deployment (a Bare-metal or VM approach) or CLOUD deployment for above mentioned Public and Private Clouds.
• Hands-on experience in Code Versioning Systems like Gerrit/Git, SVN etc.
• Understanding of SNMP for statistics collections
• Experience in working on Relational Database like Oracle, PostgreSQL. Also an understanding of a No SQL database like MongoDB, Cassandra etc. would be a plus
• Experience designing and building concurrent, high throughput web services/APIs based on deep understanding of the performance impacts of alternative threading architectures
• Experience on Restful API and use it for service access.
• Good Softskills \xe2\x80\x93 Interaction with Customer/Local team for Requirement Gathering, Analysis and Discussion.

Good to have skills:

• Experience in DevOps tools like Jenkins for CI/CD.
• Understanding of an OSS System like Element Management System for Management (Fault), Monitoring(Statistics & performance data Collection) and Configuration of network elements.
• Preferably from telecom background.
• Knowledge on YAML, Ansible playbooks, Helm charts
