Position Summary

Wolters Kluwer Financial and Compliance Services (Pune) have a need for a Sr. Software Test Automation Engineer for our Pune Global In-house center (GIC). Broad expectations from this role are as follows:

Technical Experience:

1. Experience in functional/non-functional testing.

2. 5+ years of experience in testing , preferably with complex web applications/ Desktop application.

3. Experience in API Testing and UI testing.

4. Strong manual testing and debugging abilities.

5. Knowledge of the Agile/Scrum methodology.

6. Should be good at troubleshooting and problem solving.

7. Able to write/understand basic SQL.

8. Experience in testing ETL and Data Warehouse applications

9. Experience in creating test plans and test cases based on business requirements

10. Thorough knowledge of fundamental quality assurance concepts and best practices is required

11. Ability to come up with out of the box positive and negative scenarios

12. Ability to take ownership and understanding the end-to-end flow of the data across multiple applications

13. Basic knowledge of Selenium/API Automation in C# .

14. Basic understanding of OOPs concepts and able to write basic code.

Experience

1. 6-8 years of total experience in software testing

2. Excellent communication skills \xe2\x80\x93 verbal and written

3. Good mix of experience on desktop & web applications using manual and automated testing techniques.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Create Test Strategies that define the testing scope and approach for projects

2. Develop/automate the functional tests for the Reports and DAU products.

3. Execute these tests according to a defined schedule and transmit the results.

4. Document in a clear and concise manner the anomalies/bugs encountered during the test.

5. Create test plan and test strategy for product.

6. Able to find dependency and work with multiple cross functional teams.
