The Data Integrity and Computer System Validation (CSV) team, part of BMS\xe2\x80\x99 Global Manufacturing IT organization, is seeking an IT Compliance Engineering to meet evolving and growing needs for IT/Compliance across the company\xe2\x80\x99s manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will apply their compliance/validation skills to validate manufacturing and laboratory systems to support BMS\xe2\x80\x99 worldwide manufacturing operations directly.

Purpose of the role and the team

The Senior Tester/Test Engineer is responsible for developing testing strategies for manual and automated testing and implementing them in industry-standard testing frameworks. The Senior Tester/Test Engineer provides manual and automatic testing expertise and oversight and also plays a role in the execution of the test scripts, test documentation, guiding the junior-level testers and staying current with cutting-edge testing methods and technologies.

The Senior Tester/Test Engineer will closely partner with the BMS IT business analysts, development leads, IT Quality Management (IT-QM), and Quality Assurance teams (QA) while managing the testing responsibilities of the Medical Evidence Generation Services capabilities that include SaaS (Salesforce) based applications and websites.

Capabilities

Create testing procedures to evaluate the performance of the business applications and websites

Build application testing programs that automate testing processes of SaaS applications (Salesforce and other CRM) and Websites

Document all testing procedures

Report defects and make recommendations to improve the quality of the applications

Collaborating with other Test Engineers, Software development, IT Quality Management (IT-QM) and Quality Assurance teams (QA)

Analyze the Requirements from client document.

Participate Daily stand-up meetings for the clarifications and status updates.

Generate test cases based on the requirements and other documents.

Procure or create test data required for testing.

Execute Test Cases and Report defects along with Bug summary reports.

Re-Test issues and follow-up to closure.

Able to identify Non-Functional requirements and execute test cases.

Proficient in Regression testing.

Responsible for handling end-to-end testing of the modules assigned independently.

Perform test on the responsive website on various platforms independently.

Experience & Qualification requirements

Minimum 5 years of working experience in the application testing. Experience in software development is a plus.

Experience in Manual Testing (Test case Designing, Test Execution, Preparing Test Data and updating Test case Result)

Experience in defect tracking Process, familiar with defect reporting and tracking using tools like ADO and HP ALM.

Experience in Functional Testing, Regression Testing and Smoke Testing.

Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Quick learner and excellent team player with a proven track record with a sharp learning curve.

Good knowledge on defect tracking, defect analysis and different ways of reporting format.
Good knowledge on requirement specification review, test plan document, defect sheet document and other templates.

Experience in Pharmaceutical/Life science industry is a plus.

Experience in Requirement Gathering, Designing and Analysis of the User Requirements.

Good knowledge in Automation testing with Selenium, and API testing.

Good knowledge in SQL.

Knowledge in OOAD (Object Oriented Analysis and Design) implementation and knowledge in Salesforce, Python, Java, HTML, XML, HTML5

Good understanding of Project Management concepts and experience in developing high level project plans.
