Responsibilities About this role:
The Sr. Software Engineer role is part of our next gen application development in UI, micro-service and cloud platform. The candidate should have strong knowledge of programming, algorithms, data structure, core concepts of OOP, experience in micro-service development and production deployment. The individual should be able to mentor and groom the junior team members

In this role, you will:
Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Required Qualifications
5 years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Required Qualifications, International:
5 years of design and/or development experience with .NET, C#, ASP.NET MVC, Angular or React, Kendo UI, Web API, Entity Framework, ADO.NET, and SQL Server
3 years of experience in .NET Core
Convert the applications from the .NET framework to the .NET CORE framework as part of our cloud transformation.
Enable our applications to modernize through the use of containers and CICD automation.
Database design and development (Microsoft SQL Server)
Strong background in object oriented development techniques
Solution design patterns and best practices, e.g. SOA, Micro-Services
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Partner with other team members to deliver on our strategic initiatives.
Participate in gathering requirements and discussing solution design with users
Proficiency in enterprise architecture and design patterns
Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, Agile, JIRA and Confluence
Experience with Automated Testing using Selenium and SpecFlow a plus
Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Desired Qualifications:
Expert level experience with multiple API design approaches and best practices
Experience with applying security best practices to API Platforms
Exposure to UI development using React Redux
Experience in working with any cloud platform
Experience in NoSQL and/or object oriented database
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner to engineering and non-engineering audiences
Documented and demonstrable experience in technical leadership roles leading platform and API teams
Education: Any Graduate
