Department Overview The Consumer Lending Technology group within the Enterprise Information Technology business consists of Home lending, Auto and Platform support for various applications across retail/mortgage lending businesses About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with 7+ years of experience... for Designing ETL processes for Hadoop projects using Spark, SQL, Autosys, HIVE, Hadoop . Strong data analysis skills are required to understand and make sense of customer data. You\'ll work on complex problems to provide troubleshooting and resolving production issues, data research and fixing defects. You\'ll be part of a technical team building enterprise wide projects through all phases of the system development life cycle including estimating, analysis, design, testing, implementation, user support and documentation. Big Data, Spark, Analytics and MF Developer Skills: Total exp 7+ 4+ years in development of data pipelines/ETL for data ingestion, data preparation, data integration, data aggregation, feature engineering, etc. 4+ years of strong experience in Big Data technologies such as Python, Hive, and Spark 2+ years of experience with Agile in a development environment 2+ years of expert level Tableau/Power BI abilities and a proven history of maximizing Tableau\'s capabilities in visualizations Good to have knowledge on AI/ML skills Good to have 2+ years of real time experience in Mainframe (COBOL) Responsibilities Include: Acts as a strong designer in providing application design guidance and consultation, utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools and existing designs. Analyzes highly complex business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign complex computer platforms and applications. Acts as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts. Verifies program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs. Oversees overall systems testing and the migration of platforms and applications to production. Develops new documentation, departmental technical procedures and user guides. Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees creation of or updates to and testing of the business continuation plan. Define requirements for and test data sources for reporting, and design metrics that measure control effectiveness, various risks, and KPIs Mentor team members to broaden the team\'s use of complex analytical and data visualization techniques.
