Description
Responsible for handling the delivery of data and information relating to the business intelligence of the organization.
They should be able to design, develop and maintain data warehouse and analytics architecture to meet an enterprise's business analysis needs.
Responsible for planning, connecting, designing, scheduling, and deploying data warehouse systems.
Work with data engineers on data acquisition and transformation strategies
Administer all requirements and design various functional specifications for data
Monitor data warehouse work and provide subject matter expertise
Mandatory skill
Extensive knowledge of relational database theory
Experience with data modelling and architecture
A solid understanding of dimensional data modelling
Worked on ETL tools, SQL databases, Data warehouse platforms
Experience with data security and data access controls and design
Experience with AWS or Azure data storage and management technologies
Knowledge of data structures, data modelling, SQL skills, analysing
Develops, monitors, and maintains ETL processes, multidimensional database structures, relationships, data flows and data interfaces
Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management
Able to create best practices for data loading and extraction.
