Functional QA

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Functional QA with experience in Perl/Python automation and strong experience testing filesystems, networking, distributed/scale-out storage systems, Windows, and vSphere. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience testing performance and storage system reliability and integrity and familiarity with storage architectures, caching, SSD and HDD.

Additionally, the candidate must have experience with general feature testing and vSphere SDKs, as well as experience with storage components of virtualization and Windows clients.

Technical Skills:

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of testing distributed filesystem(s) including performance and data integrity, 5 years of experience testing highly available storage solutions, and 5 years of experience with storage system performance and testing storage system reliability and integrity.

The candidate must have at least 3 years of experience testing virtualization products and 7+ years of testing distributed storage systems. Strong architectural knowledge and experience with white box testing of storage system high availability features is a plus.

Process Skills:

\xef\x82\xb7 Capable of analyzing requirements and test/develop software as per standard process.

\xef\x82\xb7 Ability to work in agile methodology following organization standard work processes.
