Yara aims to be the crop nutrition company for the future and is leading the development of sustainable agriculture and digital tools to contribute to solving global agricultural challenges. We have a worldwide presence with sales teams in ~150 countries and around 17,000 employees.

Drawing on over a century of crop nutrition experience, Yara established the Digital Farming unit - now Digital Ag Solutions (DAS) - 4 years ago to explore how technology could be used to impact farmer livelihoods and productivity. Today, DAS has built products for smallholder and professional farmers, retailers and other farming ecosystem stakeholders across Asia, Africa, the Americas and Europe.

We are an international team of engineers, scientists, researchers, designers and agronomists working together to achieve Yara's goal to responsibly feed this world and protect the planet. Responsibilities

Collaborating with product management to work towards achieving the company's and team's goals.

Contribute to technical decisions and strategy to further the long-term product vision.

Work on unblocking unique frontend challenges our product teams are facing to improve development speed and the user experience.

Create a great developer experience through good tools and practices that empower seamless delivery.

Be part of cross-functional teams, working closely with other platform and product teams.

Be involved in key product decisions and work closely with the whole team to create intuitive and reliable apps.

Profile

• Expert with JavaScript and TypeScript Fullstack SDLC and software engineering best practices.
• Strong with common data structures, design patterns, design tools etc.,

Experience building solid, well-structured front-end applications (mobile, web apps) * Familiar with at least one popular front-end framework, such as React, React Native, Vue etc.

• At least two full-project experiences with mobile development using Javascript frameworks for both Android & iOS (React Native etc).
• Sound knowledge in building Web Apps using frameworks such as Reach, NestJS etc.,

Experience building micro frontends

Well versed with Android and iOS native

Experience with Google Play Console and Apple App Store deployment

Experience with modern, large-scale software projects: source code control with Git, APIs, cloud platforms, test-driven development, continuous integration (CircleCi, Jenkins etc.,), documentation * Solid knowledge of unit/integration testing (Jest, Enzyme etc.,). Build reusable code and libraries for future usage.

• Experience mentoring junior & mid-level software engineers.
