ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:

Our team develops integration solutions at airports into our AMS product. Our solutions also enable system integration between external parties. We follow new technology trends as much as possible while still providing integration into older technologies. We have a high-paced environment which requires quick turnaround. We follow Agile development principles and have a CI workflow. Our AIE integration platform is a messaging-based solution developed in IBM IIB/ACE.

We are looking for talented ACE developers keen on entering the airports industry and who are willing to learn about the industry. We are looking for developers who are willing to take guidance and grow in the airport integration space.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Review integration requirement specifications, assess feasibility, contribute to design of the integration solution, and provide accurate development effort estimates.
• Develop integration services in IBM ACE
• You\'ll develop applications and services, applying standards for programming, naming, security, and performance.
• Create accurate and comprehensive unit tests for your code to prove correctness.
• Collaborate with 2nd level support from time to time to troubleshoot integration issues in production environments.
• Maintain integration solutions to keep them performing in accordance with technical and functional specifications.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum five years\xe2\x80\x99 experience developing software integration solutions.
• Strong knowledge of IBM MQ and IBM IIB/ACE with a solid grasp of developing efficient message flow solutions.
• A good knowledge of XML and related technologies i.e. XSD, XSLT, SOAP
• Experience in developing REST based solutions.
• Capable of writing comprehensive unit tests for verifying code correctness.
• Good knowledge of devops practices, agile development, software design patterns, continuous integration, test driven development and version control.
• Familiar with Azure Devops
• Knowledgeable on the use of Git and managing repos and source code.
• Good knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS and/or Azure Cloud).

NICE-TO-HAVE:

• Experience in IBM MQ administration fundamentals would be advantageous.

• Knowledgeable in the fundamentals of relational database concepts and structures, experience in working with SQL Server would be advantageous.
• Experience in working with containers and knowledge of microservices concepts would be a plus.
