Position: Senior Sales Lead (Government Business Vertical) We are looking for a self-motivated Senior Sales Lead who will own, lead and sell to Government & PSU clients / customers as a key result area. The profile includes sales to Gov\xe2\x80\x99t Institutions, PSUs /Govt Bodies / state & central government departments, ministries, handling large & medium accounts, selling enterprise software solutions and services. Company: We are public listed enterprise software products and services company that is enabling the government sector with a bouquet of product and service offerings. To qualify for the role, you must have: \xc2\xa7 Demonstrable established relationships in central / state / PSU / Nodal agencies decision makers and senior influencers, partners and consultants \xc2\xa7 Direct solution and services selling, partner led execution and have demonstrable experience in software and services sales to central/state Government & Public Sector Units \xc2\xa7 Deep understanding of Government procurement procedures such as RFPs, GeM procurement, empanelment with nodal agencies etc. \xc2\xa7 Have the ability to build strong relationships at senior levels across Government / consultants / partners (System Integrators) \xc2\xa7 Have proven experience of managing end to end Government sales cycle demonstrating your experience of closing large deals \xc2\xa7 Have the capability to understand technology and be able to whiteboard solutions and managed services to Government customers / consultants / partners \xc2\xa7 Have a collaborative attitude and be adept at working cohesively with your ecosystem \xc2\xa7 Ability to spend time in the field with Government customers / partners / consultants to effectively establish value of solutions and strengthen relationships \xc2\xa7 Have strong account management skills with the ability to do territory planning, account research, relationship building at multiple levels within a single customer, whitespace analysis and so on \xc2\xa7 Have excellent customer focus and a strong attention to detail \xc2\xa7 Highly adept at relationship-management, strategic account planning, forecasting, quota attainment, presenting business solutions via sales presentations, short-term, mid-term, and long-team opportunity management. \xc2\xa7 Have been driven by Revenue / Gross Margin Targets with consistently meeting and exceeding targets/quota Q-o-Q and Y-o-Y : \xc2\xa7 Responsible for revenue generation from Government / PSU vertical. Drive sales through the creation of a government strategy, sales management, and strategic leadership \xc2\xa7 Develop and execute sales strategy and plan (both short and long term) to ensure achievement of company sales targets, growth in profits and expansion of markets \xc2\xa7 Steer the organization through early opportunity identification, account engagement, project level engagement & execution \xc2\xa7 Competitively engage with all the business touch points including engaging with strategic Government departments, agencies and large business aggregators, CPSE\xe2\x80\x99s etc. \xc2\xa7 Put in place strategies to ensure presence across all emerging business opportunities within the identified business verticals & also ensure that the company emerges competitive and in a winning position \xc2\xa7 Incubate digital transformation projects, prove our solutions value thru PoC\xe2\x80\x99s, conceptualize projects with concerned decision makers, RFP creation et al \xc2\xa7 Apply both strategic go-to-market models and more tactical approaches aimed at growing profitable Government engagements and revenue base. \xc2\xa7 Build, develop, execute and a good sales network, enhanced prospects list and sales pipeline, leverage individual skills and collective talents for making winning proposals and associated business development efforts \xc2\xa7 Interact with all functional heads / decision makers of the client company (Govt.) to understand their business processes / complexities for mapping appropriate IT solutions \xc2\xa7 Developing strong ties and relationships with bureaucrats to explore further areas & possibilities of business engagement Desired Candidate Profile \xc2\xa7 Education: Must have a bachelor\'s degree, MBA or equivalent \xc2\xa7 Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in a sales leadership position working with the Government accounts (Centre/State) \xc2\xa7 Sales-Record: Proven sales record of working on big-ticket or high-value government sales tenders (typically 25 Cr. upwards) \xc2\xa7 Technical Know-how: Strong technical knowledge and understanding of enterprise software products and IT services \xc2\xa7 Leadership: Team-player, strategic thinker & problem solver with the ability to be hands-on \xc2\xa7 Travel: Must be open to travel (position involves approx. 15 days travel in a month) Traits: \xc2\xa7 Excellent communication \xc2\xa7 Established network in the industry / domain \xc2\xa7 High initiative and drive, positive attitude, and high commitment \xc2\xa7 Maturity and ability to handle pressure \xc2\xa7 Collecting, analysing, and synthesizing information that serve as critical inputs to service clients \xc2\xa7 Ability to drive target achievement to enhance revenue for the practice \xc2\xa7 Entrepreneurial self-starter that enjoys the challenges and can work in a dynamic and changing environment. \xc2\xa7 Ability to work independently as well collaboratively in a team environment \xc2\xa7 Willing to work in high paced and result-oriented environment Job Types: Full-time, Regular / Permanent Salary: 92,500,000.00 - 93,200,000.00 per year Schedule:
