Role Purpose

The Senior Service Performance/Automation Analyst will provide senior reporting capabilities across technology to support the broader business offering. We are looking for someone who is passionate about two things, automation, and data. The role requires skills in data interrogation and visualisation to demonstrate service performance and support service improvement. Our ideal candidate will have background or experience in coding/development, automation, operations, enterprise tooling or be a data enthusiast with a keen interest to learn the tools. Using data to identify and implement opportunities for automation is a key focus of this role.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and liaise closely with stakeholders to deliver reporting requirements

Collaborate across the organisation to serve multiple functions

Applying data science to discover insights from large volumes of structured and unstructured data to shape or meet specific business requirements

Identifying opportunities for automation and scripting solutions, using data to discover tasks which could be automated Write queries against tables to create service performance dashboards in both Service Now and Power BI

Develop, test, deploy, automate and schedule existing and new reports using ServiceNow and Power BI

Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality Use large data sets to address business issues Prepare data for predictive and prescriptive modelling to identify hidden patterns using data Deliver updates to stakeholders based on analytics

Required Skills and Experience

Proven ability to design visually impactful dashboards and tell a meaningful story. \xc2\xb7 Proven data visualisation and Business Intelligence skills. Experience of enterprise tools Delivery experience using one of the following core data visualisation technologies

Knowledge of Enterprise ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, Datastage or Alteryx are ad \xc2\xb7 Cross and multi-platform experience. \xc2\xb7 Financial services sector experience. \xc2\xb7 Multi-skilled experience in one or more of the following disciplines: Data Management, Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, Data Modelling, Data Quality, Data Integration, Data Analytics, Data Visualisation, Data Science and Business Intelligence.

Data tools: Tableau (Tableau Server, Online, Desktop, Prep Builder, Mobile), Power BI (Desktop, Mobile, Report Server) Experienced in using Service Management tools: Service Now (mandatory) from a reporting perspective e.g. create dashboards and queries, schedule reports etc. Preferably also experienced in using Performance Analytics. Experienced in applying reporting methods and techniques such as analysing & interrogating data & producing reports to represent findings. Experienced in using various reporting tools and suites such as: Power BI (mandatory), SQL Server and Crystal Reports (preferable) and Tableau (optional) Knowledge and experience in IT Service Operations /Service Management processes (incident management, change management, problem management, service request, SLA etc.) and/or an understanding of ITIL (preferably qualified at least Foundation level) Advantageous if applicant has worked in a performance/reporting capacity previously. Strong people skills and experience in helping drive self and team development.

Candidate Profile

- At least 3-4 years of experience in a medium or large organization.

- Must be willing to work during UK business hours and UK calendar.

- A self-starter with a \xe2\x80\x98can do\xe2\x80\x99 attitude with high levels of resilience during high pressure situations.

- Strong delivery focused individual with the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

- Meticulous and great attention to detail

- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).

- Must be clear and concise in explaining technical matters to management.

- Ability to communicate with local and overseas teams effectively.

- Must be willing to adhere to information confidentiality and security policies.
