Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute effective recruiting strategies and plans to attract and hire top technology professionals, including software engineers, data scientists, product managers, and other relevant roles.
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers and business leaders to understand their talent needs and develop recruitment strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Utilize various sourcing channels, including online job boards, social media, professional networks, referrals, and direct sourcing techniques to identify and engage with potential candidates.
  • Conduct thorough candidate assessments, including resume screening, phone and in-person interviews, technical evaluations, and reference checks, to ensure a high-quality candidate pipeline.
  • Actively manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate tracking, interview scheduling, offer management, and onboarding.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in technology recruitment and provide guidance and recommendations to hiring managers on market trends, compensation benchmarks, and talent acquisition strategies.
  • Lead and mentor a team of recruiters, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure their success and development.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to enhance recruitment processes, tools, and systems, and drive continuous improvement in recruitment practices.
  • Track and report recruitment metrics and provide regular updates to senior leadership on key recruitment activities, progress, and challenges.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Senior Recruiting Manager or similar role, with a focus on technology recruitment, preferably in the IT/software industry for a publicly traded company.
  • Strong background in recruitment practices and management across the Asia Pacific region.
  • In-depth knowledge of technology roles, skills, and trends, with a solid understanding of software development life cycle, programming languages, and emerging technologies.
  • Demonstrated success in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top technology talent through a variety of channels.
  • Strong understanding of candidate assessment techniques, including behavioral and technical interviews, coding tests, and reference checks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience leading and mentoring a team of recruiters, providing guidance and support in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, results-oriented mindset with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple recruitment assignments simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools and technologies.
  • Knowledge of local labor laws and regulations pertaining to recruitment and selection in India as well as the greater Asia Pacific region.
