Overview:

Cond\xc3\xa9 Nast\xe2\x80\x99s Engineering team is looking for a Sr QA Engineer with 2+ Years of Cypress experience to help build out our Cypress automation framework and regression tests for our brands such as Vogue, GQ, Architectural Digest, Glamour and many more. As an Sr QA Engineer you have a proven track record building test frameworks, coding scalable automation suites, and leading the charge for automation over manual testing while working directly with Development teams and QA.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Specifying, designing, implementing tests in our Cypress automation framework.
• Coding and documenting automated test cases to ensure the quality of our brands.
• Leading training sessions and mentoring with our Jr level QA engineers.
• Expanding the automation framework to provide additional test capabilities such as continuous delivery.
• Translating existing manual regression test cases into automated tests.
• Analyzing existing systems to find areas for improvement.
• Conducting diagnostic analysis and troubleshooting to resolve complex software issues.
• Evolving automated test framework to achieve higher test throughput with increased accessibility and test execution flexibility.
• Working directly with product, engineering, and QA teams to ensure quality processes are being followed.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Total 6+ Years of experience.
• Expert level in at least 1 programming language with a preference in JavaScript
• Expert level experience in Cypress automation framework
• Configuring use of BrowserStack, Saucelabs, LambdaTest or similar suite.
• Strong understanding of STLC and Quality Metrics
• Experience with Git/GitHub required. Familiarity with incorporating work with CI tools such as Jenkins/CircleCI/Drone/Github Actions is required.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB is desirable
• Ability to work concurrently on several projects, each with specific instructions that may differ from project to project.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a collaborative environment as well as independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Expertise in analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex issues.
