Your role and goals

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer with strong expertise in both Manual and Automation testing to join our Quality Assurance team. As a Senior QA Engineer at Productsup, you will collaborate with our QA team to deliver high business value projects, provide your QA expertise to our engineering teams to establish and develop reusable architecture for test automation.

In your first 3 months you will:

• Become an expert on the Productsup platform by handling Product testing and bugs
• Familiarize yourself with the processes and QA methodologies followed within the company
• Identify potential areas (data driven) of improvement for test automation across engineering teams
• Contribute to product development by independently handling the QA activities.

In your first 6 months and beyond you will:

• Take ownership of the QA processes for 1-2 engineering teams
• Improve and maintain documentation related to QA best practices
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in various aspects of QA Methodologies and Automation
• Implement test automation frameworks for FE, BE and API validations including reporting for regression and integration testing
• Own the test automation architecture and implement solutions with shift left approach
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines for all the automation projects

What you bring to the team

• 5+ years of experience in software testing in both manual and automation
• Solid understanding of software architecture and of development processes and the needs of different departments throughout a development cycle (SDLC & STLC)
• High level of proficiency in coding in any of the interpreted languages (e.g. Javascript, Python)
• Well versed with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, TestCafe, RestAssured, Karate) and approaches (TDD and BDD)
• Experience developing test automation framework from scratch
• Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Strong analytical skills and great attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal collaborative skills
• Passion to learn about data feed management and e-commerce marketplaces
• Good understanding of B2B SaaS products and experience dealing with large volumes data (nice to have)
