The purpose of this position is providing a center of excellence for proposal development and production with a focus of supporting the businesses in the winning of work by providing overall coordination, editing, writing, formatting, graphics, desktop publishing, presentations, production, and systems to support the Business Lines\' sales and marketing, functional, and corporate requirements. This role typically provides leadership in the development and production of the entire qualification and proposal delivery process and would be responsible for the operations and activities of the office\'s Marketing Services team, with direct and indirect reporting relationships with the Marketing Services manager and other local and global team members. The position supports the proposal delivery strategy, develops proposal compliance matrices, writes outlines, section directives, and mockups. The position will establish proposal schedules and develop resource plans to ensure a timely response. The position will also lead development of internal and external marketing collateral and meetings to support the business lines. You will find success in your ability to: . Develop and implement the strategic direction of Marketing Services on an office or functional basis . Supervise employees, coordinate resources, and manage associated activities . Plan, organize, and coordinate the development process of proposals, qualifications, client presentations, internal publications, and multimedia marketing collateral . Assist to determine the scope of work, develop compliance checklists, set a production schedule, coordinate level of services and resources, and track any special requirements necessary to get the job done (this may include coordinating ancillary projects that include multimedia and graphic projects) by the established deadline . Facilitate highly creative graphic design for production of printed and digital sales and marketing materials including drawings and photographs for proposals, qualification documents, and presentations and multimedia projects . Conceptualize, develop, and coordinate sales and marketing collateral including brochures, advertisements, datasheets, tradeshow booth materials, and websites in a deadline-driven environment . Work directly with the proposal manager and/or business line sales to produce proposals that fully reflect the client requirements and needs . Participate in the kickoff meeting, proposal reviews, and proposal-planning meetings . During proposal development, organize the process for collecting author input and ensure that all standards are met, including format consistency within the proposal collateral . Provide editorial and coordination services, as required, to produce responsive, clear, consistent, and readable qualifications documents, proposals, presentations, and reports . Serve as Marketing Services\' primary point of contact for a development effort . Perform final compliance check, coordinate proposal production and assembly, and confirm delivery of final product to the client . Coordinate marketing activities among corporate headquarters, business lines, Marketing Services offices, and other functional groups . Collaborate with in-house graphic designers and multimedia specialists to develop graphics and visuals. . Inform management of significant activities about ongoing projects . Provide current marketing information for use by management and line sales . Work closely with client and business line personnel on presentations . Ensure adherence to the corporate brand and quality standards . Support individual business line, functional groups, and/or proposal teams to develop strategic messaging for client submittals that will enable Fluor to be the successful bidder . Support Business Lines and/or functional groups to create and implement communication and/or marketing plans to ensure effective promotion of Fluor\'s professional and technical solutions in the marketplace . Communicate the business line service offerings and corporate strategies that can be included client and internal documents . Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines . Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines . Plan and organize own work assignments, as well as carry out tasks from management staff . Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards . Adhere to and support Fluor\'s Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies Basic Job Requirements . Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and six (6) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to ten (10) years. if non-degreed . Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors . Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job including Microsoft Word/PowerPoint, and Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop capabilities . Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines . Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner Preferred Qualifications . Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent or work experience in English, marketing, communications, design, or business preferred . Experience working in online integrated proposal management systems. . Experience using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, and Microsoft PowerPoint in a Windows environment . Advanced knowledge of a variety of software packages including desktop publishing packages and capability to integrate into final product . Strong organizational skills, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to lead are a must . Able to organize, expedite, and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously . Keen sense of attention to detail . Able to handle stress, work with high energy, and work beyond normal work hours, as needed, with little to no advance notice . Able to accommodate a flexible schedule willing and able to adapt to the demands of a high-paced corporate environment . Able to manage others and work with minimal supervision .
