We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Project Manager:
In this role, you will:

• A Platform Lead will work with the architect to create designs for various components of the platform, to meet the platform’s goals of achieving scale and extensibility. A Platform Lead will work with a team of engineers to build these components and owns the end-to-end delivery. This role requires an understanding of various technology choices and a deep understanding of
  • Java and database technologies
  • distributed computing framework
  • Search and information retrieval techniques
  • Data governance and control techniques
• A platform lead will be required to understand finances and provide funding advise to project/product manager or portfolio manager as and when required.
• This role will require to make right tools and technology choices, then create modules and programs using those technologies.
• This is a highly visible role that requires a mix of technical acumen and team leadership skills to drive the execution of the platform. This person must be creative, ask questions, and be comfortable challenging the status quo.
• Take initiative in solving complex technical problems and recommend original solutions and design approaches to platform requirements, making decisions between competing solutions.
• Manage the core development team and deliverables, including technical design, logical and physical design of the solution, coding, testing, and debugging.
• Work closely with the architect, to ensure conformance with the overall architectural guidelines
• Collaborate with Product Analysts and Product Managers to estimate and plan work and provide status updates to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the PM and the Surveillance Architect to make sure implementation follows the technical direction.
• Provide the technical roadmap for the project.
• Work with the product owners and the project manager to organize the project backlog.
• Validate all technical solutions are fit for purpose and are built to meet project standards.
• Review the project backlog and ensure that solutions proposed meet the -project’s technical objectives.
• Contribute to the project people plan and financials to ensure that the technical aspects of the project are included.
• Accountable for DevSecOps MSS OKRs(PDPTPPY, TPAM, Test Automation, Operate).
  • Create design, develop modules, and coordinate efforts with the development team, working on platform architectural implementation
  • Work with IT stake holders to ensure that strategic data supply and distribution solutions
  • Facilitate necessary meetings as per meetings log
  • Contribute to the project RAAID
  • Run the project design forum.
  • Support ITSO for the project (IT Service Owner)
  • Own and groom the technical backlog
  • Work with developers to ensure data collection, enrichment and delivery is built as per standard project design.
  • Contribute to the best practice in all aspects of project governance
  • Ensure that all technical requirements are accurately reflected in well-defined Epics and Stories
  • Provide technical impact assessment to support change management.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• 15+ years of experience
• Must have worked on a hosting platform, understands platform strategy and benefits
• Good understanding of Google Cloud (Architecture/Developer certification will be a plus)
• Experience of leading team of engineering leads and engineers
• Strong Core Java 8+(17 would be a plus)
• Spring (Core/Boot) 4+ , Reactive spring boot
• Apache Hadoop (Spark/HDFS/Yarn)
• SQL/ DevOps Tooling (Ansible/Jenkins/Airflow/ELK)
• Unix/Shell scripting/ Continuous integration and build solutions (Maven/Jenkins/Bamboo)
• Good communication skills (As this role will require to interact extensively with Business and IT stakeholders)
• Unit testing (JUnit/Mockito/JMock/JMockit)
• Knowledge of Spring Integration and Spring batch frameworks
• Prior experience of moving on-premise platform on to a cloud.
