Job Description

LOCATION: India JOB PURPOSE: The Project Manager is responsible for managing projects associated with capital budget projects, life cycle management and obsolescence, with overall responsibility for the planning, executing, controlling and communications of all phases of the project to meet the defined scope of work, timeline and budget. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Technical Project Manager

• Identify and organize capital budget projects - 20%
• Identify and organize obsolescence projects including documenting risk assessments, materials and labor and communicate the cost and risks to appropriate stakeholders - 15%
• Manage assignments, schedules, and deliverables for project team members to meet scope of work, timeline and budgets - 50%
• Create and deliver project updates and reports to project team members, management and clients - 15%

Education and Certifications:

• Four years of College resulting in a Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent
• Project Management certification or equivalent experience preferred
• Six Sigma or Lean certification preferred

Experience:

• 8 to 10 years\' experience
• 3 to 5 years\' experience
• Project Management including Agile methodologies

Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Requires a high level of independence and leadership ability
• Ability to complete multiple tasks under pressure without direct supervision
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to manage others without direct reporting responsibility
• Ability to translate contract language and scope-of-work documents into project schedules
• Knowledge of relevant discipline (e.g., IT, telecommunications)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs

Supervisory Responsibility: Leads work teams (assigns, coordinates, and checks work) for employees performing similar work
