In this role you will be reporting to Senior Engineering Manager and will be responsible for collaborating on project installation, commissioning and site activity, provides technical support to commissioning and startup activities.Your responsibilities

• Interacting with customer, contractors and vendors. Attending project meetings and presents all technical aspects of project assignments
• Collaborating and networking with engineering colleagues within ABB. Sharing best practice across different projects and disciplines
• Leading, supervising and coordinating teams in all engineering disciplines (both in-house and outsourced) on low complexity projects
• Optimizing engineering of project within the agreed schedule
• Following and applying standard techniques, procedures and criteria to perform the job
• Updating reusable solutions, work-around and problems handled into database

Your background

• Bachelor\'s degree in electrical/ electrical and electronics engineering
• Require 5 to 7 years of experience in automation solutions by similar suppliers in metal industry
• Hands on experience in customer management, service, maintenance, service activities, commissioning
• Good knowledge in ABB automation systems like 800xA, compact HMI, freelance, ABB ACS800 / 880 multi drive, standalone drives, DCS800, DCS880, converters/ inverters, drive tuning, different drive configurations and their interfaces etc
• A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills
