Job Description
Our manufacturing unit hopes to find an educated, well-motivated and patient candidate who is willing to perform under pressure with ease. The production supervisor will be in direct touch with the ground-level employees, so he should be able to maintain his calm and peace while at work. The production supervisor should have excellent managerial skills because he will be responsible to manage the entire production unit.Responsibilities
- To begin with, understand the requirements generated by the sales team.
- Conduct team meetings daily with all the department heads to ensure the production process remains seamless
- Evaluate each station of the manufacturing process to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Manufacturing and shipping processes in the unit.
- Inspect products prior to shipment to ensure high quality.
- Ensure all the assets are used efficiently and cost-effectively so that there is minimum wastage of raw material.
- Enforce safety policies in the production unit to ensure the safety of employees and decrease the chances of employee injuries at work.
- Motivate employees through proper training programs.
5+ years of experience in production unit supervision
Ability to create and follow Schedules
