Responsibilities include some of the following. . Provide leadership and direction to the DataOps function across GSC D&T (Vx & Rx) to enable business value and outcomes that includes defining, implementing and communicating DataOps roadmap for GSC D&T (Vx & Rx) . Create and maintain automated methods of orchestrating data platforms for GSC D&T (Vx & Rx) while also monitoring data quality and the status of related infrastructure - the machines powering data analytics as well as the source of the data . In close partnership with platform team align GSC D&T (Vx & Rx) business and user demands with production data analytics environments, providing the tools, infrastructure, and processes required to respond rapidly and automatically while still maintaining high quality data . Run and maintain D&A products across GSC D&T (Vx & Rx) implementing best practices through the reduction in manual tasks and increased agility, ensure various personas in GSC D&T (Vx & Rx) can focus on innovation and providing real value from an ever-increasing data volume. . Review, analyze and evaluate current state integration deployment Operating Model including technology tool stack and determine maturity for CI CD in the context of DevOps as well as DataOps . Develop productive relationships and strategic alignment with relevant teams (e.g. platform) teams across the organization . Manage application group personnel, developing their skills and capabilities to meet the needs of the organization by promoting diversity of backgrounds and opinions within the DataOps team. Create a team environment to encourage self-reflecting on feedback provided . Create sustainable and scalable data analytic products throughout the implementation and use of Agile and DevOps methodologies. Ensure that management reporting and insightful analytics are delivered, incorporating accurate data, atop robust frameworks and systems . Develop and enable processes that allow for continuous improvement through structured feedback, error/variation detection, performance measurements, data security evaluations and data quality measures. . Lead discussions at peer review and use quantitative skills to positively influence decision making. Effectively explain technical concepts at all levels in the organization, including senior managers/stakeholders. We are looking professional with . At least 10-12 years of experience in the role managing large scale data and analytics projects data management domain with focus areas including data migration, data quality, data governance, data information security, DW and reporting . 5+ years of experience leading Tech application development, business intelligence and infrastructure team, including internal associates and contractors. 3+ years of experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies . 5+ years of experience on data ingestion/ETL/ELT tools (ADF, Talend etc.) as well as MS Power Planform (Power BI, Automate etc.) . Expert on infrastructure as code/automation platform like terraform/ansible etc. . Good knowledge of Elastic Observability which ensures visibility into the most complex hybrid and multi-cloud environments. Ingest metrics, logs, and traces quickly and easily from applications and infrastructure hosted on cloud providers such as Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud to unify and visualize all data in one place for successful cloud migration and app modernization. . Expert understanding of methodologies and techniques utilized for the integration, transformation and presentation of data assets for the purposes of data and analytics. This includes, but is not limited to, technologies such as: HIVE query language, SPARK SQL, Scala, Python, . Must have experience utilizing Agile and DevOps development methodologies for the implementation of CI/CD data solutions in common cloud base environments (e.g., Azure, GCP). and how to enable DataOps using both Cloud and hybrid On Prem Cloud options . Must have strong understanding of DevOps tools and must be in a position to effectively articulate the difference between DataOps and DevOps . Strong understanding of DataOps Tools, data orchestration tools e.g Saagie, DataBricks, Data Kitchen, Analytics Tools, Ingestion tools e.g Streamsets. Must have worked with Big Data and Containerization concepts Dockers Kubernetes . Strong understanding of repositories and deployment tools in the context of successful CI CD implementation as DataOps e.g GitHUB Jenkins, BitBucket, Bamboo and others and must be able to determine what can be used in the context of DataOps . ML enabled: Data Curation, data Quality strategy, testing automation, data reconciliation, Build Deployment, Operational Monitoring Alert automation . The ability to perform work with a high degree of independence in terms of self-management of a large variety of tasks and initiatives regarding Data/AIML Ops . Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
