Principal Designer - BIM Structures

Job Locations:- Noida/Gurugram/ Chennai OR Mumbai, India

You will join our Buildings department

As our newSenior Principal Designer - BIM, Buildings you will be part of our global High-Rise department, Ramboll\'s dedicated team of high-rise experts which have designed over 150 tall building projects globally, including some of the most technically challenging. You would be responsible for coordinate with project managers and/or engineers for draughting work in the High-Rise department in Mumbai and supporting the global department which also has offices in Copenhagen, Dubai and Singapore.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

\xc2\xb7 Mentor - Provides guidance and knowledge to juniors and works towards competence enhancement of another technician within the team

\xc2\xb7 Will coordinate with project managers and/or engineers for draughting work in a given project.

\xc2\xb7 Is responsible for technical correctness and timely delivery of the drawings and documents in his projects

\xc2\xb7 Lead the team of BIM Modellers by guiding them and checking in their work

\xc2\xb7 Understanding of all aspects governing operational & up to date knowledge of the latest technological advancements, regulations/guidelines &statutory compliances in the industry.

\xc2\xb7 Effective resource planning/optimization with a focus on waste reduction, enhancing productivity & profitability; ability to use sound decision-making skills to effectively perform in a self-directed environment.

\xc2\xb7 Possessing valuable insights, keen analysis team approach to implement best practices, adept at working in high-pressure environments with strict deadlines &multiple deliverables.

\xc2\xb7 Technical expertise in Revit (BIM software), familiar with BIM/CAD Standards, ACAD - (2004 to 2012), Neviswork & Revit 2009 to 2021. 3D,4D Drawings.

\xc2\xb7 BIM MODELING, Coordination and Preparation BOQ.

\xc2\xb7 Will assist the project team towards developing/implementing draughting standards.

\xc2\xb7 Would assist in even distribution of work within the drafting team

\xc2\xb7 Will assist in improving the efficiency and productivity of the drafting team

\xc2\xb7 Communicates the training and development needs to his supervisor

\xc2\xb7 Exercises self-discipline and work ethics

\xc2\xb7 Respect and follow company policies and procedures

Qualifications

\xc2\xb7 B.tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering Professional with minimum 12 years of professional experience and Should have minimum 4 to 5 years experience in Middle East projects.

\xc2\xb7 Strong knowledge of Revit is essential.

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of 3D modeling tools such as Revit & Navisworks would be desirable

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of 3D modeling of all Structural component, Rebar and Steel structure.

\xc2\xb7 Experience in preparing general arrangement drawings, Experience in all stages of drawings such as Concept, Schematic, Detail design and GFC

\xc2\xb7 A robust knowledge of Building Structural design and experience of services full co-ordination

\xc2\xb7 Must have knowledge of BIM/CAD standards and aware of Engineering terminology

\xc2\xb7 must have experience on international project

\xc2\xb7 self-motivated, team player and able to work independently with minimum supervision

\xc2\xb7 Flexible attitude, in an environment with frequently changing deadlines can be relied on to meet deadlines,

\xc2\xb7 committed to both their work and personal development, with a willingness to widen their experience, including knowledge base and leadership skills

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of Microsoft applications

Good level of written and spoken English
