We invite you to bring your knowledge of BIM in network design as you would create 2D drawings, 3D models, and Coordinated BIM models and shall be responsible for the technical quality of your own work as well as fellow CAD technicians. To succeed in this role, you must have a sound knowledge of design software\'s like AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Navisworks. You will join our Water department

As our new Senior Principal Designer - Water, REC you will be part of a global team of specialized water consultants supporting the development of sustainable societies. BIM/CAD Lead, as a part of multi-disciplinary project teams, is responsible to provide drafting support, technical expertise and would focus on compliance with project objectives and quality standards.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be: * You will work on detailed drawings for a range of projects to create 2D drawing, 3D models and support other members of the drafting team in accomplishing complex tasks.

• You will support in the creation of a BIM execution plan or CAD standard manual for the project.
• You will need to coordinate with project managers and/or engineers for draughting work in a given project.
• Mentor fellow CAD technicians on advancement in BIM authoring software and CAD standards.
• Support Team Leader on standardization of CAD/BIM standards and nurture an environment of automation and development within the team.
• Support in training/knowledge sharing with the team and cross-teams within the Water Department.
• Is responsible for technical correctness and timely delivery of the drawings and documents.
• Follow CAD/BIM standards of respective countries/projects and update them on a regular basis as per the experience from the project.
• Exercise self-discipline and work ethics.
• Respect and follow company policies and procedures.

From the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. For this role, we believe your starting point is: * Diploma in Civil Engineering or ITI Trained Professional with the minimum of 10 years of professional experience.

• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D is essential.
• Experience in preparation of general arrangement drawings, plans, profiles, and layouts, setting out drawings of water supply, wastewater, and storm water drainage network, and creating 3D models of pipe network/underground utilities is required.
• Self-motivated, team player, and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Flexible attitude, in an environment with frequently changing deadlines can be relied on to meet deadlines, committed to both their work and personal development, with a willingness to widen their experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications.
• Good level of written and spoken English.

Qualifications

Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering

Mandatory Skills Requires: 3D modelling knowledge is mandatory in Civil 3D (Revit is desirable)

Software Skills: AutoCAD Civil 3D, Navisworks, ArcGIS

Experience: 10-15 years
