GENERAL SUMMARY
OCI Administration will have broad responsibilities across daily support, database and middleware administration, quarterly upgrades, and compliance. This position will be the primary technical expert working with the internal/external implementation teams and internal functional team on Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems implementation and support.
OCI Administrator will also provide all the necessary assistance to the cloud servers, including security configurations, patching, and troubleshooting. Helps to maintain system security strategies, policies, and procedures working in coordination with Enterprise security teams.
Performs all duties in a manner that promotes team concept, high quality customer interactions and reflects the Providence Health & Services mission, vision (know me, care for me, ease my way) and core values of; respect, compassion, justice, excellence and stewardship.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • This position works closely with a range of internal IS service providers from platform and storage engineering, database, networking, security and access management.
  • Partners with the ERP team on system administration based on organization-defined data security policies and user role matrix
  • Review and audit end user accounts, permissions, and access rights. Align segregation of duties and security profiles
  • Provide support for end user access issues including troubleshooting and performing root cause analysis.
  • Manage and monitor service detail and service notifications related to patching/critical updates/downtime.
  • Support PaaS administration tasks for OCI and OIC.
  • Support corporate Single Sign On accounts, Oracle IDCS and assist with troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • View account usage, export metric data and provide reports.
  • Manage all Service Requests (SRs) with Oracle Cloud operations to coordinate and complete any system and/or data administration tasks.
  • Works with internal staff, 3rd party vendors and Oracle to update and communicate environment maintenance schedules, refresh schedules, and outages.
  • Monitors and communicates system performance metrics and works with internal staff and 3rd party vendors to resolve any issues.
  • Interact and liaise with internal and external auditors to meet SOX and ITGC compliance.

EXPERIENCE
Required – 3 to 6 years of experience as an Oracle ERP Systems Administrator on Oracle ERP Cloud .
Preferred - Knowledge and experience managing DbaaS, OIC, IDCS, PaaS Security. Advanced understanding of Load Balancers, VCN,Networking, Connectivity models ( VPN, Fast connect). Experience with supporting Oracle Cloud/e-business HCM, Payroll, Supply Chain and/or Finance is highly desired.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES
Technical:
  • Strong Exposure on Oracle Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP & Oracle HCM Cloud
  • Should be able to provide support to Implementation teams
  • Should handle production support
  • Manage all integrations and OIC framework
  • Proficient in Cloud computing Concepts
  • HA, DR, Security Implementation
  • Regions, availability domains
  • Networking (VCN)
  • OCI Services - Databases, load balancing, IAM, FASTCONNECT, VPN, Compartments, Terraform
  • Provisioning, creating, and configuring Oracle Integration instances and identities on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Proficient in Oracle RAC, ASM, Engineered System, PCP and Load balancer Setup and troubleshooting
  • Configure printing capability, CUPS configurations, Resolve printing issues
