Develop and maintain operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements; develop, implement, enforce, and evaluate policies and procedures; develop processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping
Analyze and improve organizational process and workflow, employee and space requirements, and equipment layout; implement changes
Accomplish operations and organization mission by completing tasks as needed
Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
Contribute to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolve problems; complete audits; identify trends
Ownership of the complete supply chain for vendors and customer deliveries
Establish vendor contracts and pricing and ensuring proper maintenance of all nature of vendor relationships
Track vendor pricing, rebates, and service levels
Review and approve all operational invoices and ensure they are submitted for payment
Work closely with the finance department and team to perform analysis of our inventory and holding ownership of effective utilization of our inventory, purchasing the right equipment,maintaining solid inventory data, and reduce sub-rental expenses
Communicate job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions of warehouse workers
Plan and review compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures of warehouse workers
Meet or exceed operations labor budget expectations
Run a safe, injury/accident free workplace
Work closely with management team to set and/or implement policies, procedures, and systems and to follow through with implementation
Communicate all operating policies and/or issues at regularly scheduled meetings Any other responsibilities as assigned by the management
EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE FOR THIS POSITION
Masters's Degree / MBA in Operations or a related field preferred with at least 2 years of work experience OR Bachelor's Degree in any field and 4+ years' experience in Operations (Preference would be given to a candidate from the manufacturing / heavy equipment / commercial vehicle industry)
LOCATION AND SHIFT DETAILS
This position will be based out of Ahmedabad; however, the candidate should be flexible to travel within/outside India as per the business requirement
Travel may account for more than 30% of the candidate's month, however this is subject to change
The candidate will be aligned to work from 9:30 AM to 6:15 PM, however, this is subject to change as per company policy
Please Note: The company works on Saturdays
