Senior Manager Tea
Job Description
Our client company is an FMCG Group Co. with HQ in Ahmedabad. It has had a presence in the tea business since 1892. The group is a leading stride in tea exports and retail consumers all over the world. The Group enjoys an undisputed market presence in Pan India and is 3rd largest packaged tea company. Should have excellent knowledge on Indian Tea and Global Markets. Hands on testing and correct assessment of teas. Should be able to independently do dry leaf across all categories. Must have hands on experience on evaluating and buying of Sri Lankan, Kenyan and other categories of teas. Must have good experience of Auction buying and buying through other channels. Must be aware of various auction processes, rules and operations. Closely monitoring suppliers on meeting deliverables. Coordinating material movement and dispatches efficiently. Study and develop new Supply Chain partners. Any other operational matters of Tea Auctions and tasing at H.O. Any other assignment given by the organization from time to time. Education: Min Graduation/ Preferably Post Graduate. Experience: 15-20 years in Tea Industry.
