Role Responsibilities

Strategy

  • Candidate will provide a link among projects, programs, customers, and resources.
  • Candidate will bring changes, possess detective skills, adopt automations, analytical mindset with the comprehensive technical skills.
  • Promote service excellence across all chapters in the Hive.
  • Ensure the technology environments are standardized, obsolescence is remediated, necessary tools are provided, provisioning in projects is automated and optimized with the latest technology infrastructure for best performance.
  • Support Solution design, technical migration documentation, capacity, design patterns reviews chosen as part of DC Migrations.
  • 3Demonstrated history of promoting service excellence within a team; Should possess knowledge of or experience in design for reliability, testing, measurement, and understanding of the complete software lifecycle, and should be able to guide the team in critical design requirements stage.
  • Result oriented, focused on delivery and disciplined approach to work.
Business
  • Oversees the presentation of services to clients while making sure the service levels are effective.
  • Assist Application teams to choose desired migration targets in line with strategy.
  • Obsession for great end-user experiences and outcomes; should be able to focus on customer delight amid conflicting priorities.
Processes
  • Should have a high-level understanding of data center, networking, server infrastructure, virtualization technologies, storage, systems, monitoring systems, job scheduler.
People and Talent
  • Ability to grow and maintain organizational and interpersonal relationships.
  • Must be able to manage a global workforce covering many cultures.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching and communication skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills and ability to communicate with the business at senior level.
Risk Management
  • Should respond to RFIs in provisioning.
  • Should ensure there are no NCs in provisioning process.
Governance
  • Provide Governance across the Provisioning Projects estate, ensuring global standards, controls and audit policies are enforced.
  • Govern the Provisioning, Infra and Web project commissioning activities that are linked directly to Infra, Web and Middleware Perspective.

  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank.   • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
Key Stakeholders
  • Maintain effective relationships and deal openly with all key stakeholders, considering the needs of all stakeholders and influence decisions which, in the long term, are positive for customers and clients, shareholders, colleagues and the communities in which SCB operate.
  • Understand technical constraints of live environment / architecture, support business clients in understanding any 'requirement versus cost' trade-offs.
Other Responsibilities
  • When required, provide consulting service for initiatives requiring expert Provisioning advice.
  • Keep current with new technical developments for potential use as solutions to requirements.
  • Have regular knowledge transfer sessions with Service stakeholders including team members.
Our Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Understanding of Scripting / automation / builds process.
  • Deep knowledge of Linux or Windows systems administrations / internals required.
  • Must understand in detail supporting technologies like DB (Oracle RAC), Networks, Storage (File, Block and object) and Hardware.
  • Deep knowledge of Linux or Windows systems administration / internals required.
  • IBM WebSphere Application Server & Liberty 8.5.5 / 9.Apache HTTP / NGINX / IIS.
  • Understanding of Scripting / automation / builds process.
  • Understand automation tools and framework (Ansible, BMC Blade logic, CFEngine).
  • Enterprise Management Tools.
  • Must understand in detail supporting technologies like DB (Oracle RAC), Networks, Storage (File, Block and object) & Hardware.
  • Leadership and communication skills.
  • Must be able to manage a global workforce covering many cultures.
  • Knowledge in the areas of risk management / audit / compliance environment.
  • Knowledge in the areas of incident / problem / change management / capacity planning.
  • Sound technical management experience of time critical and complex technical projects.
  • Knowledge of enterprise management tools.
  • Knowledge of disaster recovery practices and procedures.
