Job description:

- To ensure that manufacturing process runs reliably & efficiently,

- Planning and organizing production schedules

- Adherence to budget and timeliness

- Support the plant management in order to achieve successful implementation and compliance with the Company's safety standards and directives

- To identify continuous improvement projects, proposing any changes in working practices, developing new process in the plant

- To provide detailed problem analysis for engineering solutions to process problems in conjunction with production management and operators

- To introduce process control parameters and facilitate the operators to carry out the same as an on-going practise

- Responsible for training the plant staff to keep them up to date with the latest techniques to improve the overall plant performance

- To participate in the cost calculations of the factory and look for opportunities to reach optimum resource utilization while aiming at cost reduction

- To lead a team of Engineers and Junior Engineers

Candidate Requirements :

- BE / BTECH ( Chemical/ Mechanical / Ceramics )

- 10-15 yrs of experience in manufacturing in Production Management, preferably in an Industry which requires Solid Handling (e.g., Cement, Ceramics, Building Materials etc.)

- Additional experience in process engineering or technical project management

- Good knowledge and exposure of TPM culture

- Proficiency in Autonomous Maintenance

- Experience in continuous improvement projects in manufacturing
