One of our leading client into multiple food product category , looking forward for an excellent leader having experience in Product development - either in Staples or Noodles / Pasta , The Sr. Manager Product Development is a senior position in the Foods Business mandated to design, develop and supervise the implementation of the Division\'s Product development strategy

Job purpose :

Lead the creation, design and execution of all new Product development activities for Noodles/Pasta or Staples category and guide team to develop products that are unique, have superior sensorial, carry scientific claims and that comply to regulatory norms.

Responsibility :

- Lead Product Development function for (1) Noodles and Pasta or Staples category under VP PD (Noodles, Pasta and Staples) and taking forward all existing PD projects.

- To involve and closely work with PD teams for developing competitively superior product portfolio.

- Drive expansion into new range of offerings in Noodles and Pasta categories such as airdried options, Noodles with sauces, Low priced SKUs etc.

- Develop range of masala/seasoning/sauces options at optimum costs and also improve contributions of existing products where necessary.

- Focus on upgrading and updating product quality parameters and systems for existing products ensuring that consumer feedback feeds into the quality and manufacturing systems so that consistent quality is maintained in the market.

- Actively work with Marketing, Market Research, Supply chain and Product Research teams to drive PD projects for focused and agile execution of projects.

Education & experience :

- PhD Food Technology / M Tech Food Technology from premier Institute/universities in India/Abroad.

- Candidates with a Food Technology qualification from CFTRI, UDCT, NDRI Karnal, HBTI, MAU, Parbani may be considered only if they have sufficient previous product development work experience in a national or multinational corporation and have 15-20 years\' experience in the role.
