Experian is looking for a highly motivated, passionate, and enthusiastic individual who is interested in providing the highest level of support for our global network security team that provides and operates effective, secure, optimized network security solutions for our customers. The team is comprised of subject matter experts that are focused on network security controls, including perimeter firewalls, DDoS services, intrusion prevention systems, web gateways, web application firewalls, and F5 load balancers in both on premises and cloud environments.

The Sr Manager of Global Network Security is expected to provide energetic and creative leadership for the Security Operations and Engineering staff to enable them to provide converged, world class, high performing, network security services to the entire company and our customers.

Position Functions

Managing a dynamic IT organization with highly variable priorities

Manage and lead the Global teams that run the operations and engineering of network security controls, including cloud and premise-based Web Application Firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems, Web Gateways, and Firewalls.

Manages the engineering design solutions for new Experian customers or applications requiring network access and support

Coordinates the implementation of new systems with other systems groups

Evaluates new network technologies for possible uses and implementation

Develop and implement device configuration standards, and policies and procedures that provide world class support to our business and clients

Collaborate with the other leaders in Global Network Services for Capacity planning and management, Disaster Recovery, Contingencies and Business Continuity

Hire, train, and supervise the network staff and ensures the staff is empowered to exercise initiative and work creatively

Responsible for staff salary planning, personnel actions, and performance management process.

Create an environment of continual growth in professional skills and knowledge for all staff members

Create management reports and metrics that show team performance against SLA\'s, OLA\'s, etc

In collaboration with the Global Network leadership teams, create a roadmap for Global Network team to help meet customer needs today and in the future

Take a senior leadership role in high level cross-functional / cross-organizational team projects

Deliver converged, reliable, scalable, high quality services to the business including Network Infrastructure and Network Security

Effectively manage vendor relationships and coordinate with the procurement and legal teams

Be flexible and handle competing/changing priorities

Work with the Network and Security teams to continually evaluate security control performance and effectiveness in order to facilitate maximum uptime and minimize malfunctions

Qualifications

Passion and desire to lead and motivate a team of engineers to achieve personal and professional goals with a focus on continual growth through development plans and goals

5+ years of experience in the Information Security field

10+ years of working experience in a customer driven support role for an organization similar to our size

6+ years of experience managing a network operations/engineering team for a large enterprise

Experience in managing an environment that includes Public Cloud (AWS, GCP, Oracle, Azure etc), Private Cloud, Colocation facilities and Datacenter facilities

Specific experience with a combination of network security platforms such as Incapsula, SecureSphere, Trellix or Checkpoint or Fortinet Firewalls/Intrusion Prevention Systems, Skyhigh Prem and Cloud Web Gateways, and F5 Big IP and SSLO solutions

Proven ability to manage workloads using Agile framework

Knowledge of the acquisition, installation, maintenance, and management of networking, telecommunication and computer/server equipment

Ability to exercise sound judgment in complex, high pressure situations

Ability to facilitate productive meetings and work successfully in a team-oriented environment

Ability to create and establish processes, documentation, and automations required to effectively hand-off between network engineering and operations teams

Understanding of SSL/TLS protocols

Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP Networking

Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience

CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certification(s) preferred
