  • Planning
  • Plan & schedule jobs in consultation with the entire team.
  • Prepare Business plan for his area of operations.
  • Manpower planning.
  • Prepare rolling plan for the year for his area.
  • Monthly planning of completion.
  • Work as a team with sales staff to meet customer requirements.
  • Departmental meeting once in a month to monitor progress of various projects.
  • Monitor performance of team members and support them in activities plan parameters.
  • Monitor job as per schedule and visit site accordingly.
  • Meet supervisors once in a week to discuss requirements, progress, employee involvement and to solve personal or technical problems.
  • Address problems of employees and supervisors.

  • Customer Relations
  • Visit major customers to solve their queries unanswered by supervisors, take policy decisions if required & maintain good relationship with customer which will develop rapport between customer and organization.
  • Organize handing over ceremonies with supervisors.
  • Maintain cordial relations with builders, owners, architects, government inspectors etc.
  • Training
  • Nominate supervisors for training as per the skills required.
  • Impart ISO 9002 awareness training programme to all employees from his area.
  • If necessary conduct technical training programme.

  • EH&S
  • Actively participate in Regional Quality and Safety council meetings and review issues and progress.
  • Incorporate EH&S into Business Decision making process, achieve EH&S goals as outlined in the annual plan.
  • Have EH&S performance impact (Positive or negative) on the compensation of direct reports.
  • Ensure that issues identified in the Risk Assessment (JHA) process are mitigated or controlled in accordance with assigned responsibilities and schedules.
  • Participate and facilitate participation of employees in the department in EH&S training and TBT as per EH&S plan.
  • Conduct EH&S inspection/audit as per assigned quota and ensure completion of corrective actions within targeted completion date.
  • Ensure supervisors conduct SFT inspection/FPA and complete corrective actions within targeted completion dates.
  • Ensure supervisors participate in Incident investigation.
  • Ensure EH&S rules and procedures are adhered to by all employees at all job sites.

  • Quality
  • Ensure that construction work in his area is carried out to achieve required standards of performance and quality.
  • Continuous monitoring of erection work of his area.
  • Check completion of jobs on the time.
