Position: Sr. Manager / Logistics Head Department: SCM Reports To: Managing Director Location: Ludhiana, Punjab Other Perks: Accommodation based on availability Key Responsibility Areas : v Selecting carriers and negotiating contracts and rates. v Planning and monitoring inbound and outgoing deliveries. v Supervising logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services. v Organizing warehouse, label goods, plot routes, and process shipments. v Responding to any issues or complaints. v Researching ideal shipping techniques, routing, and carriers. v Working with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations. v Evaluating budgets and expenditures. v Updating and evaluating metrics to assess performance and implement enhancements. v Ensuring all operations adhere to laws, guidelines, and ISO requirements. v Perform metrics reporting and data analysis tasks to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements v Partner and communicate with manufacturers, suppliers, and customers v Manage and develop logistics staff v Create and manage budgets v Directing, optimizing and coordinating full order cycle. v Schedule and track inbound and outgoing shipments v Ensure materials are delivered to sites in a timely manner as per criteria v Assess and recommend ideal shipping methods, routing or carriers to meet necessary parameters, specifications and costs v Negotiate rates with carriers v Creation of documents in the scope of management of logistics v Monitoring and assessment of trends in logistics v Leadership, motivation, evaluation, and control of subordinate employees\xe2\x80\x99 performance Qualifications: l Bachelor\'s degree in supply chain management, operations, logistics, business administration, transportation, or engineering l 12+ years of experience working in logistics, warehouse, or transportation operations l Firm grasp of supply chain, inventory, distribution, business, and management principles l Strong team player l Ability to manage, coach, and provide training for direct reports l Exceptional organizational and analytical skills l Working knowledge of logistics and inventory software Job Type: Full-time Salary: 91,000,000.00 - 91,500,000.00 per year Schedule:
