Senior Manager Logistics and Warehouse Department: Logistics Location: India, Goa Jobtype: Full-Time Contract Type: Permanent Country: India
To manage the warehouse and logistics activity so as to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer ( internal and external ) satisfaction
Responsibilities:

• Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse for customer satisfaction ( internal and external customer )
• Optimize the utilisation of warehouse space and manpower
• Liaise and negotiate with transporters, freight forwarder, customs clearing house agents.
• Coordinate with supplier for movement of raw material to factory, documentation, third party despatches.
• Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency. Resolve any arising problems or complaints ( internal and external )
• Supervise, coach and train warehouse and logistics workforce
• Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
• Maintain metrics and analyse data to assess performance and implement improvements
• Comply with laws, regulations, audits and ISO requirements.
• Timely clearance of imports shipment, with coordination with CHA , Customs department and company finance department
• Timely filing of export benefits with various government department with the help of consultant.
• Filing and replying to various show cause notice issued by GST , Customs , RTO department and attending the personal hearing along with advocate.
• Co-ordination with planning, production, finance and sales for effective functioning
• Co- ordination for direct shipment from SANY, issuing of purchase order with the help of planning team, and following up with SANY team for invoice and physical despatch.
• Coordinating with insurance agency for transit damages claims
• Reviewing of GST RETURNS, which needs to be filed with the department- Monthly, quarterly, Yearly.
• Scrap Management.
• Any other work assigned by HOD.

Requirements: B Com / M Com / BBA with Computer - Basic Knowledge with 10+ Years of Exeprience Logistics and Warehouse Functions in Engineering Industry.
